PITTSBURGH - Over the past few weeks, Target 11 has been investigating unusually high electric bills for thousands in the Channel 11 viewing area.
On Saturday, Target 11 learned that Attorney General Kathleen Kane’s office has been bombarded with phone calls and has launched an investigation.
This week, the Bureau of Consumer Protection received 7, 352 calls. Of those, 2,600 were complaints about electricity bills. Those totals are just from the past seven days.
