Toddler in car seat survives deadly crash in Indiana County

INDIANA COUNTY, Pa. — A toddler strapped into a car seat survived a deadly crash in Indiana County late Thursday night.

Officials said 31-year-old Brendon Miller died when he crossed the center line of Route 422 in Armstrong Township and crashed into a car heading in the other direction.

Emergency responders said a 25-year-old woman in the other car was thrown from her vehicle and rushed to a nearby hospital with serious injuries.

Police said a 3-year-old in a child seat suffered minor injuries.

It is not clear what caused the crash.
