Turtle Creek home appears to be collapsing; Woman forced out

TURTLE CREEK, Pa. — A Turtle Creek woman has been forced out of her home after part of her house collapsed.

Channel 11's Courtney Brennan visited the scene on George Street Friday and saw that part of the woman's kitchen had collapsed.

Residents who live in the area said the damage started a few weeks ago and they believe the heavy rain brought it down.

“The rest of the property seems to be stable because it looks like it’s just caving in from the middle, not left to right,” Mike Molen said. “We have a concern about our property.”

The American Red Cross is helping the woman with temporary housing.
