BETHEL PARK, Pa. — An 18-year-old was arrested and charged Wednesday in connection with a crash in May that killed his 16-year-old friend.
Police said Christopher Beck was driving drunk when his car slammed into a tree on Stoltz Road in Bethel Park on May 15.
Shane Phillips, of South Park, was in the backseat of the car and died in the crash.
Beck is facing a number of charges, including DUI and homicide by vehicle.
