PITTSBURGH — A man found shot Wednesday night on the porch of a home in Homewood has died, Pittsburgh police said.

A Pittsburgh police spokeswoman said officers were responding to a ShotSpotter alert in the 500 block of Rosedale Street just before 8 p.m. when they found the victim on Inglenook Place.
The spokeswoman said the victim was standing on the porch when approximately a dozen shots were fired. She said several people, including children, were inside the home at the time, but they were not hurt.
The victim was later identified as 23-year-old Savon Lamont Martin of Homewood.
Authorities said no motive was immediately apparent and no one was in custody.
