Man dies after being shot multiple times on Wilkinsburg street

WILKINSBURG, Pa. — A man died late Saturday night when he was shot multiple times on a street in Wilkinsburg, authorities said.

The shooting was reported shortly after 11 p.m. in the 800 block of Rebecca Avenue.

Police said the 27-year-old man, identified by the Allegheny County Medical Examiner's Office as Giovaunne Davis, was found in the middle of the street with gunshot wounds to his face and stomach. He died at the scene.

Investigators said it is believed that Davis was meeting with someone at the time of the shooting. His car was located near the scene.

No suspects have been identified.
