Man dies at hospital after shooting in Pittsburgh neighborhood

PITTSBURGH — A man died Wednesday night at a hospital after a shooting in Pittsburgh’s Westwood neighborhood, police said.

Authorities said Zone 6 officers were called shortly after 7 p.m. to Kiski Way and Bartow Street for a shooting. A man with at least one gunshot wound was found at the scene.

Police said the man was taken to Allegheny General Hospital, where he was pronounced dead. He was identified as 21-year-old Alfred Diggs of Lincoln-Lemington.

There was no word on whether anyone was taken into custody at the scene.

Police said the investigation is ongoing.
