A 37-year-old man was run over and wounded by blacktop roller in an accident Thursday in Fayette County.
The man was injured from his waist down, emergency dispatchers said. Officials said the man was conscious and alert when medical personnel arrived.
He was able to move his legs, and he was taken to a hospital by medical helicopter.
The accident was reported around 2:40 p.m. in the parking lot of the Crown Cork & Seal Co. on Baldridge Avenue in South Connellsville.
