Man wanted for Oakmont home invasion arrested at hotel

ROSS TOWNSHIP, Pa. — A man wanted for homicide has been arrested by the U.S. Marshals Fugitive Task Force.

Ian Guliani was taken into custody around 11 a.m. Friday at a hotel on McKnight Road in Ross Township. The name of the hotel was not provided.

Guliani, who is also known as Ian Kaminski, is charged in the death of Brandon Turowski, who was killed during a home-invasion robbery in Oakmont in June of 2016.

A second, unknown person was also involved. Police said the pair broke into the home on View Street, found Turowski in his second-floor bedroom and demanded money.

They allegedly shot him in the leg. That injury led to his death.

Pittsburgh Crime Stoppers is offering a $1,000 reward for information that leads to that second arrest.
