PITTSBURGH — The bank inside a busy South Side grocery store was held up around dinnertime Tuesday.
Police say a masked man walked into the Giant Eagle in Wharton Square around 6:15 p.m. and went straight to the Citizens Bank branch inside. The man approached and robbed the two tellers.
The robber was about 5’9” tall, wearing a gray hooded sweatshirt and sweatpants, police said.
The investigation is ongoing.
