New London subway line surprises New Yorker with same name

NEW YORK CITY, NEW YORK — A woman in New York woke up this morning to find that she was trending on Twitter.

The 40 year old businesswoman was suddenly receiving scores of messages and found her name was being used by millions of people on Twitter.  It took her a while to figure out why but then it became clear.

While she slept, London unveiled the name of their new subway line.  The Elizabeth Line is named in honor of Queen Elizabeth.  The new Crossrail trains will travel under the center of the city starting in December 2018.  The Elizabeth Line in New York said she was greatly relieved to discover she hadn't done anything outrageous the night before and retweeted a picture of the Queen captioned "Just wish the Queen would give it a rest with the photobombs."  Arriving at work this morning, she even had a new nameplate.
