PITTSBURGH — “Parents Magazine” Tuesday ranked the Pittsburgh Zoo & PPG Aquarium as the fourth “Best Zoo for Kids” for a second year.
“Parents Magazine’s rating validates the work that we do every day to provide our visitors with a great family atmosphere as well as an opportunity to see and learn about animals,” said Dr. Barbara Baker, president and CEO of the Pittsburgh Zoo & PPG Aquarium. ”We designed Kids Kingdom to provide a balance between fun and learning and to spark a child’s imagination through interactive exhibits. Today especially, it is so important for kids to learn and enjoy nature and animals as so many species are facing uncertain futures.”
