Police said a man walked into the bank with an open navy blue umbrella. As he approached the tellers, he pulled out a plastic bag and demanded money. Authorities said while a weapon was not displayed, the man gestured as though he had one in his pocket.

The man fled the scene on foot on Forbes Avenue with an undetermined amount of cash.

Authorities said the man wore multiple layers of dark clothing, including sunglasses with a mask over top. They said he is believed to be a middle-aged white man.

Anyone with information about the incident is asked to contact Pittsburgh police.
