Pittsburgh ranked ‘Best City to Celebrate St. Patrick's Day'

PITTSBURGH — Where’s the best place in the United States to celebrate St. Patrick’s Day?

Of course we know it’s right here in the Steel City.

And according to Niche, they agree.

The website compiled a list of the Top 10 Cities to Celebrate St. Patrick’s Day based on four categories:

  • Access to bars grade
  • Facebook hype
  • Percentage of Irish people
  • Year the St. Patrick's Day Parade was established

Pittsburgh received an “A+” for access to bars, 136% Facebook hype, 13.5% Irish and the parade was established in 1869.
