Police find large amount of drug paraphernalia during traffic stop

O'HARA TOWNSHIP. Pa. — Pennsylvania State Police arrested a Saxonburg man Sunday after he was found with a large amount of drug paraphernalia during a traffic stop.

Officials said the 24-year-old man was pulled over along Route 28 for burned-out license plate lights.

During the stop, authorities said they found him to be under the influence of a controlled substance and alcohol. He was taken into custody for DUI.

While searching the vehicle, police said they found 375 empty stamp bags of heroin, three Suboxone strips, two marijuana pipes and wrapping paper used for bricks of heroin.

Charges are pending lab results.
