According to the criminal complaint, Anderson told investigators that the night of the hit-and-run, he had several drinks at a bar, got into his car to go home and “blacked out.”

He said he didn't remember hitting anything and came out the next morning to find his truck damaged, the complaint said. Anderson said he then took his damaged vehicle to an auto body shop to be fixed.
