PITTSBURGH — Steelers’ running back DeAngelo Williams surprised unsuspecting Dick's Sporting Goods customers at South Hills Village Mall Tuesday evening, when he posed as an employee of the store.
Williams, donning a hat and glasses, assisted customers who were picking up holiday gifts they had ordered online.

When each transaction was complete, Williams came out of character and posed for pictures.
Some customers recognized him and others didn’t, but either way it was an over-the-top customer service experience.
“Thankfully, I’m better at carrying the football than working at Dick’s,” Williams joked in the video supplied by the company.
From golf clubs to kayaks, Williams had fun trying out the merchandise with customers and even made a few twirl a Terrible Towel while he retrieved their items.
