1 shot, killed in Stowe Township

One person was shot in Stowe Township Sunday afternoon.

Police said a 42-year-old man was shot in the 1200 block of Broadway Avenue around 3 p.m.

The man, identified by the Allegheny County Medical Examiner's Office as Robert Monti, was transported to a local hospital and died, police said.

No further information was made available.

Police are currently investigating the incident.
