“The good thing is we were able to solve this crime quickly. With something like this, where you have a body left on the street, it causes a lot of fear and concern for the community. So solving it quickly lets everyone sleep easier at night,” Beaver County District Attorney David Lozier said.

Lozier said surveillance video from several businesses on the day of the shooting helped in the investigation, and phone records showed communication between Williams and Johnson, who worked as a jitney driver.

Details of the shooting have not been released, but Williams proclaimed his innocence as he was walked out of the Aliquippa police station and taken to jail.

“I didn't shoot her. I don't know what y'all talking about,” Williams told a Channel 11 News crew.
