Western Pa. congressman's Mt. Lebanon office vandalized

A Western Pa. congressman is concerned after one of his offices was vandalized.
Someone spray-painted the words “filth” and “rot” on Rep. Tim Murphy’s Mt. Lebanon headquarters.

Murphy, R-18th District, said he doesn’t know why those words were chosen.
"We should be worried. I was worried when my colleague was shot at,” Murphy said.
Louisiana Rep. Steve Scalise and three other people were injured when a gunman opened fire on a Virginia baseball field last month.
“All those things should concern us. We should not condone this is any way shape or form,” Murphy said. “But it isn't just saying, 'Somebody else is doing it.' The kind of words we use with people to talk about politics is part of the problem."
Murphy said police are investigating.
