LANCASTER, Pa. — A pit bull jumped into a Lancaster woman’s van and attacked her children.
Both of them were strapped into their car seats.
Marsha Jones didn't know what to do, so she started pounding on doors of nearby houses.

One man was able to get hold of the animal, which gave Jones time to drive away.
"The dog was not stopping. It was a vicious dog. That dog was the devil,” Jones said. “That dog needs to be gone. I told the police, 'Don't Tase it,. Don't do anything. Kill it."
The children were taken to a Lancaster-area hospital.
No charges have been filed against the dog's owner.
