"You get up at 5 a.m. looking for the paper, and you see three news stations and the police there," said neighbor Ron Steedle.

Channel 11 saw officers moving in and out of the home around 4 a.m.

Police said the men broke into the home, then stole a silver Acura. They did not immediately release a description of the robbers, but said one was armed with a gun and the other with a knife.

Officials said the victim was shaken up, but not hurt.

"People move in, they try to stay under the radar, but I'm not shocked to see any of this happen," Steedle said. "There's been a lot of activity on that back street the past seven or eight months."
