Five homes are without water after an “emergency break” in the Hill District Saturday.
According to Pittsburgh Water and Sewer Authority representatives, the break forced the few homes to have their water shut off around 2 p.m.

The PWSA said customers were not able to be notified about the shut off because it was an emergency.
The PWSA also said it is providing impacted customers with a water buffalo until service can be restored.
Crews are expected to finish the repairs Sunday.
