Police said Matz put Suzanee Ritenhour in her car and dropped her off in front of the Ritenhour’s home before calling 911.
The victim’s grandson saw his grandmother get hit, relatives told Channel 11. He will testify against Matz at the next hearing.
Matz's defense attorney plans to plead not guilty. Thursday’s hearing was postponed until June 8.
