Home surveillance captures Green Tree burglary suspect

GREEN TREE, Pa. — Police in Green Tree are looking for a man who broke into one home and tried getting into another.

The man was caught on surveillance video at one home. He was wearing a Homestead T-shirt when he opened a screen door and began knocking Tuesday afternoon.

Police said the man stole jewelry and cash from a home on Glencoe Avenue.

“If someone knew him, it'd be pretty apparent who it was,” Lori Hoag, who lives in the area, said after watching the surveillance video. “Hopefully, if someone sees the video on TV, they'll call it in.”
