Man facing dozens of child porn charges after trading explicit images

A Westmoreland County man is facing dozens of child porn charges.

In his Arnold home, police say they found pictures of children as young as 3 engaged in sex acts.

"Up here, it's a nice neighborhood with the mayor, two police officers living up here, we would've never expected it,” said Aleisha Lambert, a neighbor stunned to learn a man living across the street was raided by state agents, accused of having and sharing child pornography.

"It's very disturbing, I have a 1-year-old, my friend that lives here has a 4-year-old and 2-year-old, and we let them play out in the yard, and to know a guy is doing that; it's very disturbing,” Lambert said.

A cyber tip from yahoo.com tipped off authorities, who traced an IP address back to Murray Avenue in Arnold.

Inside the home of Robert Pacek, agents say they found pictures and videos of young girls engaged in sex acts too graphic to describe, ranging in age from 3 to 10 years old.

Agents say computer forensics turned up four pictures on Yahoo instant messenger, 10 more were allegedly found on Pacek's laptop, along with eight videos and five images on his cellphone.

Pacek allegedly told investigators he used Yahoo instant messenger to trade images of child sexual abuse.

"We always have to be cautious but now it makes me want to hold my daughter a little closer than I already do, to me,” Lambert said.

Pacek is being held in the Westmoreland County Prison on a $50,000 bond.
