A man was killed after rear-ending a tractor trailer on the Parkway East on Monday night.
Police said Walter Leroy Goff III, 28, of Pittsburgh slammed into the back of the truck after 11 p.m. in the outbound lanes approaching the Squirrel Hill Tunnel.
The crash was so violent the car was wedged beneath the truck.

Goff was wearing a seatbelt, according to police.
It wasn’t immediately clear what caused the accident.
The truck driver, Daniel Weaver, 47, of Ohio was not injured and police did not cite him.
