On a day when most people would rather stay inside, Amanda McKnight took a bus to a Mckees Rocks cemetery where she stood in a cold, soaking rain to adorn the grave of her 11-year-old son on the anniversary of his slaying.
"I brought these two little scarecrows because he liked Halloween. I mean we carved a pumpkin but we weren't going to carry that with us,” McKnight said.

Two years ago Wednesday, David Mcintyre was shot and killed while playing video games in the families Mt Oliver home. His brother, CJ, who was 16 at the time, was shot 8 times, but survived.
Amanda called the gunman a coward and said she never thought he would get away with it, but so far he has.
“I was hoping by now I’d know something. I want to know the someone and the reason.
Amanda is determined to keep David’s unsolved murder on the minds of the community and Allegheny police investigators, who told channel 11 David’s murder is still an open investigation.
They continue to follow leads and just a few weeks ago, conducted more interviews, but for now, no suspects have been identified
"I brought a wise owl that somebody will have the wisdom and the knowledge to tell me who did this to my son,” McKnight said.
Allegheny county police are still looking for leads-you may remain anonymous. There is a $2,000 reward for info leading to an arrest.
