No injuries reported when school bus crashes with students on board

SHENANGO TOWNSHIP, Pa. — UPDATE 5:54 p.m.

Officials say the bus driver tried to drive around a construction crew on the snow-covered road and ended up slipping into the ditch.

All students were evaluated at the scene and then placed on another bus to be taken back to the school. Parents were notified and asked to meet their children at the school.

UPDATE 4:35 p.m.

The principal of Shenango Elementary School confirms a bus went off the road and into a ditch Tuesday afternoon.

No students were reported injured, but are being evaluated as a precaution.
