Penguins leave Fleury, Rust unprotected for upcoming expansion draft

PITTSBURGH — The Penguins submitted their list of players they chose to protect and expose Sunday for the upcoming NHL Expansion Draft.

The NHL released all 30 teams' lists of players that will be available and unavailable for the expansion draft.

Pittsburgh chose to protect eight skaters and one goalie, leaving players such as Bryan Rust and Marc-Andre Fleury available to be selected by the Vegas Golden Knights.
