Scott Township police released these surveillance pictures on their Facebook page Tuesday.

The person driving this Jeep Grand Cherokee stole the identities of victims and cashed several thousands of dollars’ worth of personal checks in banks across the area, Scott Township police said.

One woman told Channel 11 her car was broken into during a gym class at Orange Theory on Route 19 -- and four other cars were hit as well. Taylor Beck said the thieves stole her bag and her entire wallet.

Police said someone then cashed a $4,000 check in Beck’s name and account, and that same person tried to do it again.

A First National Bank teller told the suspect to come inside, so they drove away. Authorities said the suspect also used Beck’s ID to cash more than $44,000 in stolen checks in other peoples’ names.

Anyone with information is asked to call Scott Township police.
