Police impersonator pulls over woman, troopers say

KITTANNING, Pa. — A woman told state troopers in Armstrong County that a police impersonator pulled her over on Wednesday morning on Route 422.

According to police, the woman was traveling west shortly before 10 a.m. when she passed a dark blue Crown Victoria with a small blue light bar on top sitting in the parking area of a greenhouse.

She told police that the car pulled out behind her when she passed it, and she pulled over near Blanket Hill Road.

Police said the driver got out of his car, approached the woman’s vehicle and asked for her information.

The woman said the man told her that if she showed him her underwear, he would “make it all go away.”

The woman told police that she drove off and went directly to the state police barracks in Kittanning.

Troopers said the man was wearing a dark blue security uniform with a patch that said “security officer” and a dark blue baseball cap. He has dark hair, a goattee and sideburns.
