Reward offered for information about Penn Hills woman's death

PENN HILLS, Pa. — A reward is being offered for information about the death of a Penn Hills woman.

Jessica Vecchiola was found dead Feb. 6 by family members in her Loretta Drive home.

Police said she was assaulted Jan. 31 in the parking lot of Bill’s Hometown Pharmacy in Plum.

Vecchiola told family members she was being tailgated, and when she pulled over to let the car pass, a woman got out of the car and assaulted her.

Vecchiola went to the hospital the next day, where she was treated and released.

Police want tips from anyone who may have seen the assault or Vecchiola's burgundy Pontiac G6 being followed.
Anyone with information is asked to call Pittsburgh Crime Stoppers at (412) 255-TIPS.

A reward of up to $1,000 is being offered.
