Police are seeking the public’s help in identifying the driver who may have struck and killed a Cambria County man with their vehicle on Tuesday.
Pennsylvania State Police found Jacob Hale, 22, of Mineral Point, in the middle of Cardiff Road in Blacklick Township just before midnight Tuesday, according to a release. Paramedics declared him dead at the scene.
Hale had just left a nearby house party, police said. A friend of Hale’s was on her way to pick him up when she found him in the road.

A witness said the car that struck Hale was a white, newer model SUV heading southbound on Cardiff, police said.
Investigators think there’s a good chance that the driver did not realize their vehicle had struck a pedestrian based on evidence and witness information, said Trooper Steve Limani.
