Police are searching for the person who robbed a bank on Pittsburgh's South Side in broad daylight and scaled a seven-foot wall to escape.

The robbery was reported at the Dollar Bank on the 1700 block of East Carson around lunchtime.
"During the day, with all this traffic and commotion, you'd think it would scare people off," said Michael Snow, who works near the bank.
Witnesses said the man robbed the bank then ran out into the street and scaled a brick wall to get away.
"That's a nice 10-, 12-foot drop over there. I mean, I guess he was really desperate," Snow said.
Anyone with information is asked to call police.
