A California University graduate is on our list of Ones to Watch at the Olympics in Pyeongchang.
Matt Antoine, a skeleton athlete, earned his degree online from Cal U.
Antoine earned a bronze medal in Sochi in 2014 and considered leaving the sport afterward.
He took some time to reflect and ultimately decided to come back to competition and go for the gold in Pyeongchang.
"I spent the last three years just kind of taking a step back, seeing what I could do better, do differently even though I had success in 2014. You can't get complacent or anything like that,” Antoine said.
He said his training this past summer and fall were the best he's ever had.
