Wallace was pronounced dead at the scene, police said.
A neighbor who lives a few doors down from the home didn’t realize it was gunfire at first.
“It sounded like a pack of firecrackers, like someone, like the whole pack, like, the wick, just like crack, crack, crack, crack, crack …,” said Debby Johnson.
Loved ones ran to the house to find out what had happened.
Neighbors told Channel 11 that the neighborhood is typically quiet.
