The flood gates on Washington Boulevard that block drivers from the roadway during heavy rains were damaged Tuesday night after being struck by a vehicle.
No one was medically transported from the 5:14 p.m. crash, according to a city release.
The flood gate pole and utility box near Negley Run Boulevard are being assessed. The city did not give an estimate for how long repairs would take.
