McKEESPORT, Pa. — Conditions at Fairview Cemetery in McKeesport are so bad that a woman said she can’t find where her father is buried.
In May, Channel 11 News was first made aware of overgrown grass and weeds, as well as garbage, at the cemetery. The issues still have not been addressed, and Virginia Snyder said she can’t visit her father’s final resting place.
“This just makes me so angry that I can come in here and not find my father,” Snyder said.

Channel 11 News previously spoke with a man who said he volunteers to maintain the cemetery. Snyder said she, too, has reached out to him in hopes he can help her find where her father is buried.
Channel 11’s Brittny McGraw is speaking with Snyder about the measures she’s willing to take to visit her father’s grave again for Channel 11 News, starting at 5 p.m.
