Train slices car in half and no one gets hurt

REVERE, MASSACHUSETTS — Two suspects in a car narrowly escaped injury in a serious train accident.

The accident happened Wednesday night in Revere, Massachusetts.

Officials say a car was trying to cross railroad tracks when they were hit by a passing commuter train.

The impact of the accident was so great it split the vehicle in half.

No one was hurt in the accident.

The driver and a passenger, both women, fled the scene.

Transit police have identified the driver and are working to track the two women down.
