A water main break in Penn Hills prompted traffic restrictions Friday morning.
The break was reported around 11 p.m. Thursday in the 10200 block of Frankstown Road. The road is closed in one direction in between Crab Hollow Road and Curtis Street.
Wilkinsburg Penn Joint Water Authority was at the scene early Friday working to repair the 12-inch main. The road was also damaged due to the water main break.
The westbound lane reopened to traffic for the morning around 5:15 a.m., and eastbound traffic will be routed to side streets. There was no immediate timetable on when the repairs will be complete.
