Water main break floods Mt. Lebanon roadway

A water main break flooded Castle Shannon Boulevard in Mt. Lebanon Friday morning.
The break was reported about 9 a.m. outside the post office in the 300 block of Castle Shannon Boulevard, leaving several homes without water.
"We heard a shout...we live right across the street ... we heard a shout I looked out the window and there was an enormous pipe gushing water out by the post office," said A.J. Dillion, a neighbor.
Bulldozers were brought in to clear the roadway and fire crews worked to make sure no mail got destroyed.
Dillion said while the break caused problems for others, his son enjoyed watching the bulldozers work.
"He’s having the best day of his life right now ...just watching the diggers...we're having a not good day but he's having a great day," said Dillion.
Pennsylvania-American Water said repairs should be completed by 7 p.m. and the only location without water is the post office.
