Wawa warns of data breach at possibly all stores

DELAWARE COUNTY, Pa. — The Wawa convenience store chain is warning customers about a data breach.

The company published a letter on its website Thursday letting customers know that they’d discovered malware on computer servers used for processing payments.

Wawa said it's possible that all of their stores have been impacted by the malware, starting in March of this year.

The company said the malware affected debit and credit card names, numbers and expiration dates, but not PINs or security numbers.

The company said it has contained the malware and has started an investigation into the situation.
