You couldn't watch Sunday's Steelers game in veterans’ clubs across Westmoreland County.
Clubs in Jeannette and Lower Nurrell boycotted the game in observance of Veterans Day.
The action is in response to the Steelers’ national anthem controversy a few weeks ago, when the team stood in the tunnel during the anthem instead of on the field.

The Lower Burrell VFW is typically packed during Steelers games, but Sunday, it was basically empty.
"You disrespect the flag, you're disrespecting the veterans,” said DJ Sproull. “Right now, I know the NFL is doing they all support the troops. Well, it's a little late for them to be supporting the troops."
The VFW in Jeannette hosted a dart game and pot luck instead of airing the game.
