PITTSBURGH — The Steelers have locked up wide receiver Antonio Brown through the 2021 season. The team announced Monday a new five-year deal with Brown.
According to Pro Football Talk, the new deal will pay Brown $68 million, making him the highest paid wide receiver in the NFL.

“If you work hard, do the right things, you get rewarded,” Brown said Tuesday during a news conference. “I’m excited about the future.”

Brown earned his fifth Pro Bowl selection following the 2016 season and was a first-team Associated Press All-Pro pick for the third consecutive year.
He finished the year second in the NFL in receptions (106), tied for second in touchdown catches (12) and fifth in receiving yards (1,284).
“Every year is a new year and a fresh start, so you gotta come out and prove yourself, and that battle’s never-ending,” Brown said “You know, every year I’m judged upon my performance and how I make the team better.”
