PITTSBURGH — The Pittsburgh Steelers began their 2017 rookie mini-camp Friday at the team’s headquarters at the UPMC Rooney Sports Complex.
The mini-camp will run through Sunday, May 14.
Former Pitt star running back James Conner participated with the team Friday after signing a four-year rookie contract with the Steelers.

Several of the team's draft picks also have been on the field during mini-camp, including second-round wide receiver JuJu Smith-Schuester.
The Steelers are set to begin their full training camp in July.
