Pittsburgh made an early appearance in the Super Bowl on Sunday – before the National Anthem, as a matter of fact.
Award-winning actor and singer Leslie Odom Jr. performed "America the Beautiful" at U.S. Bank Stadium in Minneapolis to launch the game.
Odom graduated with honors from Carnegie Mellon University’s School of Drama in 2003.
He won a Tony playing Aaron Burr in the Broadway megahit “Hamilton” and a Grammy as principal vocalist on the accompanying album.
