We will have one more quiet day Tuesday with a mix of sun and clouds. The high will warm into the mid-70s, making for a pleasant afternoon.

Showers will try to build in for the evening commute south of Mason-Dixon Line and spread into Pennsylvania as the night goes on. It will be worth watching to see how far north it will get.

The better chance at shower activity will be the second half of the week.

"There will be on and off rain Wednesday through Friday," said Severe Weather Team 11 meteorologist Scott Harbaugh. "There won't be a washout any day but heavier rain is possible from time to time."

As of now, Thursday looks to be the wettest day of the work week. It will also be the coolest day with the high not making it out of the 60s.
