Fayette County foster care case worker accused of taking inappropriate video of underage girls

FAYETTE COUNTY, Pa. — A man is facing several felony child porn and related charges after state police say he took a video of two naked, underage girls in a bathroom without their knowledge.

Cory Johnson was arrested Sunday after his ex-wife went to the Uniontown State Police station saying she found a video of two naked girls in his email account.

“The allegation is that Mr. Johnson had taken his phone, and without the knowledge of this young child, recorded her getting out of the shower on a cell phone,” Fayette County District Attorney Mike Aubele told Channel 11′s Andrew Havranek.

Troopers say a 16-year-old and a 4-year-old were both naked in that video.

In court documents, troopers allege Johnson admitted to using his phone to take the video but said he did not know the four-year-old was in the bathroom and didn’t intend to record her.

“We have taken measures to try to locate where else this video may have gone, or if there are other videos out there,” Aubele said.

For the past month, Johnson had been a case worker with Twin Pines Family Services. It’s a foster and adoption agency in Hopwood.

They declined to go on camera but told Channel 11 they fired him immediately after these allegations came to light.

“It’s incredibly concerning to us when anybody who works with children is engaged in this type of conduct, and we always wonder how deep this goes, and how many times has this happened,” Aubele said. “With this conduct, even a day around other children is too much.”

Aubele said this investigation is still very active and is asking anyone with information to call police.
