Ten days after Brandon Bixler was found dead along Route 68 in Beaver County, his loved ones are continuing to search for answers.
Police said Wednesday that Bixler’s death was a hit-and-run. Police are searching for a 2001-2003 Honda Civic with a white or light-colored bumper.
Bixler, 25, was walking home early on the morning of Nov. 27 when a car struck him and the driver fled. He was less than a mile from his house.
Anyone with information about the vehicle or the crash is asked to call police. Officials are also asking anyone who lives on Route 68 and has surveillance video to check it and alert police if they see anything suspicious.
Beaver County Crime Solvers is offering a reward for information leading to the vehicle and/or the identity of the driver.
Bixler’s family is raising money for another reward through a GoFundMe account that was set up for his funeral costs.
